The duo, while considering themselves chandelier aficionados, also have a keen interest in antiquing and the Art Nouveau movement, with their favourite artist and designer of the period being the multi-talented Scottish architect Charles Rennie MacIntosh.

This became extremely influential throughout the creative process, with the ultimate aesthetic goal being described as a modern MacIntosh with limited but vibrant colour palette.
